Essential for survival… well almost. A least for social survival. I would like to share my favourite little helpers that you will hopefully enjoy using as much as I do. There are countless amazing products out there, so feel free to share your favourites with me!
Kevin Murphy: I am currently using the Angel Wash Shampoo for fine hair and Hydrate Me Rinse Conditioner, ideal for somebody with not only fine but also damaged hair. To get more volume I love using their Bodybuilder Mousse that really “builds” up. An additional big bonus is, that Kevin Murphy’s products are “cruelty free” (not tested on animals) and the packaging is biodegradable.
La Biosthetique – Powder Spray: A bit like a dry shampoo but so much better!! Volume for days (ok hours) in just a few minutes without sticky or worse white hair and strange bumps.
Self-Tanning Products: Maybe you share my faith of having a very light skin that does not tan easily. In that case I can recommend the Self Tanning Gradual Lotion from Vita Liberata. The name gives it away, starting with a light tan it builds up a light and later darker tan. I use it two or three following days and never had problems with brown spots or stains. If you are looking for a darker tan I would recommend Deluxe Bronzing Mousse in Dark by Loving Tan. A very nice but still natural tone but a peeling in advance is essential! And whenever you are applying a tanning product – don’t forget to apply moisturiser on your knees, elbows, feet and hands.
Yves Saint Laurent – I am madly obsessed with the packaging. My personal favourites are the lip glosses (not sticky, smell nicely and the range of colours is amazing) and their nail polish. To be quite honest, the polish itself is nice but nothing too special. But the brush does the trick for me, it has the perfect size and form to polish without stains and streaks!
Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara – Finding the perfect mascara is like finding the perfect boyfriend. Almost impossible!! But I think this one comes pretty close to perfection. Coalblack, adding volume but without adding heaviness!
